We rented a house with a verbal agreement, which is mainly concerned with the house. Never been late with the rent, but we hunt. Now we are out of the house, they are trying to say that the house is damaged. My question is, can they hold us for "repairs" to the owners if they did not lead us to live, documenting everything as it was before they rented the house?
